UPDATE (12/12): If, like me, you were not able to participate in the live webcast, you can still access the archived recording here. You will need Windows Media Player 9 or higher to view the presentation. I had a quick listen to it today and the first thing that struck me was that the audio recording quality is absolutely AWFUL — PharmaVoice really needs to invest in some better webcast recording/publishing equipment before offering another one of these. Ugh!
PharmaVoice is hosting a Webcast on “What Can Web 2.0 Do for You?“.

Title: What Can Web 2.0 Do for You?
Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST
Featuring Keynote Presenter: Daniel Limbach, PharmaVOICE Webcast Network
Webinar Description
Everyone has heard about Web 2.0, but it’s not consistently clear what it is and what it does. This web seminar will describe Web 2.0 without the technical jargon that is often used in describing emerging technologies. It’s a seminar for business professionals in the life sciences.
Participants will take away a better understanding of Web 2.0 and how it can improve the productivity and profitability of their business. They will also be armed with a concise set of questions to ask themselves before undertaking any Web 2.0 initiative, and a list of additional resources to help them take advantage of the exiting opportunities available with Web 2.0 technologies.
About the Presenter
Daniel Limbach of PharmaLinx LLC has been immersed in new media technologies since 1990, predating the explosion of the World Wide Web. Dan is the Producer of the PharmaVOICE Webcast Network, an evolving collection of Podcasts, Webinars, and Videocasts. He is also Managing Director of AccessFYI.com, a new industry portal for the life science professional (launching in January 2008).
