Most of you would probably have noticed that, in addition to re-branding, re-designing, and re-launching this blog, I’ve also switched blogging/hosting platforms.

I’ve finally shed myself of that awful Blogware platform (there were some nice features, but overall, I found it plenty unreliable and plain frustrating) and set up a hosted WordPress blog in its place. Of course, that means I had to configure my webhost (1&1) and, to top it off, I also had to switch domain registrars — I now use GoDaddy and NO, it’s not because of the provocative ads.

Of course, as soon as I did all that, I found out that WP doesn’t preserve all the layout, formatting, and embedded images when you import from the Blogware platform. Also, 1&1 has a lot of finicky admin bits that took a long while to figure out, before having the domains on GoDaddy resolve to the correct URL, etc. Finally, I had to reconfigure feedburner and other such handy-dandy web tools to point to the new domain.

Anyway, what all that means is that in the midst of all the busy-ness of my “real work” and travel schedule, I’m also trying to retrospectively go back and fix a lot of the previous posts (due to the formatting kinks) as well as play around with WP, 1&1, and GoDaddy, to tweak all the little things. Moreover, I am also trying to put a few NEW podcasts together and will probably switch my podcast host from Hipcast to LibSyn (just because I know them personally and they throw EXCELLENT parties at the Podcast Expo ).

So, now that you’re all caught up with what’s going on, you’ll at least understand why there may be slight delays between posts and why you may see changes to the blog every now and then. Look out for much more content (blog AND podcast) coming soon…
